Our Vision

We gather as a part of Christ’s church and use God’s Word as our only standard.  We worship God and seek to glorify Him in everything we do and all that we are.  And we get to do this in the company of Christians who want to become better Christians.

We want our children and their friends to have close relationships with God.  We want all our families, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to know whose we are by our love.  We want to reach out and share God’s unending love with everyone in the area communities.  We sense that “backyard missions” are an extremely important part of God’s plan of which we want to be a part.  God expects us to be both fruitful and faithful.

We strive to model our lives after God’s son who died once for all.  We live our lives basking in the Sonshine of God and taking refuge in the coolness of the shadow of the Cross.

As Christians, when we are weak, tired, sinful, prideful, selfish, wounded, sad or otherwise human, we are here to lift each other up, encourage, and edify.  When we are happy, joyful, peaceful, caring, sharing, loving, and otherwise touched by God, it’s because we have been lifted up, encouraged, and edified.  We are here to build up in the name of Jesus, not put down or turn people away.

We stand ready to share God’s love and his Word.  In the process, we want to be servants for the Lord.  With God’s guidance, we seek to strengthen and multiply the church in the Jim Ned Valley area, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
